Always start a new query by clicking first on the “Reports” tab and then clicking on the “Create” button as pictured below.
Next, as pictured below, you will complete these five steps: (Steps are below the picture!)
- Select “Reading” from the Subject pull-down menu
- Choose the group “Below Reading 3-Year MAP & Aprenda 09-10” from the Student Group pull-down menu
- Click the “Get Assessments” button
- Select this year’s MAP-Read-XX test for your grade level (The “XX” represents your grade level.)
- Click the “Create Report” button
Repeat these steps for Mathematics by choosing “Mathematics” as the subject and selecting the appropriate Math assessment.
*Tip – By moving your mouse over the bars on the graph, you can read exactly how many (number) students are meeting and exceeding and what percentage of students are meeting and exceeding.
Aprenda – As some of these students may have taken Aprenda this year, you may select to also run this query for Aprenda. For Aprenda results, you will complete the exact same steps as you did for NWEA MAP. Instead of selecting NWEA MAP in Step 3, you simply choose Aprenda as the assessment for both Reading and Mathematics.
